My goal for the summer is to have a real good handle on transcripts for my oldest two children.
So this morning, I went to consult the oracle (google) with my query "determining high school credits". The oracle replied with a very informative link from the HSLDA. I suggest that anyone with a middle schooler or above go and check it out.
I can now rest assured that the 104 bazillion hours that we seem to spend around musical activities, practices, performances.... will add up quite nicely as an elective classes for the kids. One for instrumental music, the other for Choir.
Also, in case anyone is on Facebook.... I recommend that you friend Lee Binz- The Homescholar. She is a wealth of information on transcripts.... and she is flat out FUNNY! Her blog is here, and here website is here.
Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled on your blog post because you were talking about high school credits, and you're talking about ME, LOLOL!!! Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I have a new freebie, and it's a recorded webinar on high school grades and credits. Since you're in the research stage, I think you'll really like it.
