This is an absolutely adorable book. Written by Davis Carmen, and published by Apologia Press, this book will make a wonderful addition to any family library. Grandma, Grandpa, this book would make a great Christmas gift!! ( hint, hint..) The book costs $14 and also had an available coloring book for $4. It is available for purchase directly from the Apologia website, and it written for children between the ages of one and eight. ( Don't tell anyone, but my High Schoolers liked to read it too! )
This sturdy hard bound book is beautifully illustrated book, contains the story of a 4 year old boy who learns about God through out his week. I so enjoyed the portrayal of the family together during the day, and how the parents teach the child through the normal things he does. He is taught about God through his running, and jumping, and playing.
In addition to being a great read, this book can be used as a devotional. In the back of the book, the author has provided Scripture references and questions to help you teach and train your own child. We enjoyed using the book both ways.
Again, if you are looking for a book for a Baby Shower gift, a Birthday, or for Christmas this year, consider Good Morning God, by Davis Carman.
